The Role
We're looking to bolster our Delivery Team with a Delivery Manager (fixed term). As a Delivery Manager, you will be the driving energy behind the planning, coordination, and successful execution of projects within and across your squads. Leveraging your technical proficiency and leadership skills, you will guide your squads in achieving milestones and delivering the right solutions on time and within budget.
Some of the things that you might be involved in include:
- In collaboration with the Product Managers and Tech Leads, drive the app & platform squads to deliver the roadmap on time and on cost.
- In collaboration with Sales and Marketing teams, deliver our product into Australia in 2025.
- Advocate for agile methodologies within your squads. Be involved in and guide ceremonies where necessary.
- Oversee Jira hygiene by ensuring all work is captured and timeframes are planned. Create a plan with the team to manage the backlog and assist with the prioritisation of work.
- Proactively communicate blocks, risks, and updates with the relevant stakeholders.
- Update and/or generate any changes to project or development processes, following change management best practices to ensure changes are adopted.
Please note: this is a fixed-term role from July until December 2025.
About You
We think you’ll be a fit for this role if you have the following skills or traits:
- Proven experience working in a similar role delivering mobile applications and/or data platforms.
- Experience working with agile methodologies and running cross-functional squads.
- High proficiency using Jira as a project management tool, as well as Confluence.
- An ability to take initiative, follow through on what you say you’ll do, and own your mistakes.
- Demonstrable experience taking teams from high potential to high-performing.
- Determination and tenacity, and the ability to maintain a positive attitude in challenging situations.
- Someone who has perfected the art of holding teams accountable in a non-adversarial way.
- View roadblocks as opportunities for growth, adapt positively to change, and embrace feedback.
- Proactive, candid, and concise communication skills - both written and verbal.
Some nice to haves include:
- Exposure to working with a hardware product is desirable but not essential.
